Microbial Simulation of Underground Hydrogen Storage with MRST
Elyes Ahmed presented at Enabling large scale hydrogen storage in subsurface porous reservoirs, Porto, Portugal.
MRST introduced h2-biochem, coupling compositional flow with microbial growth and hydrogen-consuming reactions, alongside Søreide–Whitson phase behavior and bio-clogging capabilities.
MRST introduced h2store for hydrogen–brine black-oil simulations, with Redlich–Kwong phase behavior, PVT tabulation, and solubility data from ePC-SAFT and Henry–Setchenow correlations. This site uses the module name h2-store.
These release milestones refer to inclusion in official MRST releases.
